folded letter sheet datelined Camden March 12th 1852, from an RB Potts to Prof. James C. Booth at the US Mint in Philadelphia; the letter begins with Potts asking Booth, "Be kind enough to write me the process used in the mint for Refining gold. A
particular friend of mine is anxious to have it & I told him I thought you would have to no objection to write it out for me."; both stamp and cover remarkably clean, Fine to Very Fine stamp on Very Fine cover.
