3343 cover   imageHandpainted Cartoon-style illustrated covers, a gorgeous set of four covers by Los Angeles artist Bill Hussey, mailed between April and July of 1946; all-over designs with characters' "speech bubbles" referring to the addressee; three of the covers feature an older man in a "Top Hat & Tails"—apparently the artist/sender—and three also feature Donald Duck (one is on the back); all are franked with a 3¢ Prexie with the perforations trimmed off. also includes a typed letter on a hand-illustrated letterhead (Jul '46) and an illustrated card sent as an enclosure (Aug '46). 3344 cover Government image[Government] Three Bureau of Indian Affairs-related Covers, 1926-31, each oversized with large corner card, the first (Apr. 23, 1926) from Wisconsin Representative James A. Frear regarding "…absolute proof of Indian Bureau malfeasance", the other two (Feb. 13, 1931) from Oklahoma Senator Elmer Thomas in relation to "Treatment of Indians"; each unused and unaddressed, with the relevant printed signature plus "U.S.S." or "M.C." free frank; condition issues commensurate with size and age of covers, but interesting historical ephemera, Fine to Very Fine.
