1572   imageBritish Commonwealth, Impressive Mostly Mint Collections, 1840-2003, The centrepiece of this collection is Great Britain (1840-2003) itself, housed in six binders and mostly blackmounted on quadrille pages, although the final volume from 2000-03 is in a hingeless Lighthouse album along with Regionals and B-O-B. Although the first page features a Penny Black, the collection only officially begins with KGV's silver jubilee in 1935. Clean, attractively arranged and also highly complete, perhaps the main attraction here are all the extras the collector has provided us. A large amount of traffic light blocks and gutter blocks & pairs are on view throughout the collection, as well as some FDCs, presentation packs, PHQ cards, even some Cinderella sheetlets and post office training stamps. Virtually all mint from Decimal Day onward, the amount of face here is staggering. And if there aren't enough gutters for you in the main collection, there is an entire album of gutter blocks & strips on the 25th anniversary of the coronation of QEII for the entire British Commonwealth. We also have an all mint collection of Isle of Man (1972-2004) and the Channel Islands of Alderney (1983-2001), Guernsey (1978-94) and Jersey (1973-88) all in black mounts, a well-filled, mostly mint collection of the Falklands (1953-92) with dependencies in a hingeless Lighthouse album, another mostly mint collection of Antigua (1863-1982) in a Scott Specialty album, an extremely well-filled White Ace album with pages for the Victory & Peace issues, QEII's coronation in 1953, the silver wedding anniversary in 1972, and other common design types, a binder of mostly used India with decent classics, as well as a lot of unusual material, like Christmas seals and extensive revenues, and lastly, a binder with over 80 covers, many of high interest and featuring censored mail, first flights, etc, generally Fine to Very Fine, some video flips online as reference.
