1870, Times Express, 6d black on rose, quadrillé paper (Scott 3), a large example with clean impression on glowing rose paper, printed rouletting visible at sides and a manuscript (as most) "#" cancel; tear at bottom, otherwise Very Fine, ex Lester A Meis, with 2001 R.P.S.V. (clean) and 2017 B.P.A. (noting tear) certificates.
