1306 85a image1925, 3¢ violet, sharp "A", "ZONE ZONE" (Scott 85a), position 18 LR, in block of 6 with normal 85's, o.g., lightly hinged, scarce error in very attractive multiple, reasonably well centered as these are usually poorly centered; minor natural gum crease through error, still Fine to Very Fine, 500 panes were printed, but the error was quickly discovered and 400 were removed and destroyed by authorities, of the remaining 100, it is estimated that about 90 still exist., with 2004 P.S.E. certificate.

1311 86e image1926, 5¢ dark blue, sharp "A", "ZONE CANAL" (Scott 86e), o.g., lightly hinged, well centered and appealing example of this scarce and interesting error, Very Fine to Extremely Fine, 90 examples of this error exist from the vertically shifted overprint sheet (this stamp included) and there are also an unknown (but relatively small) number that exist due to a diagnol shift of the overprint.
