1602 //o   imageGermany, Sensational Stock Selection, 1949-72. Neatly arranged on (our guess) 500-600 C5 stock cards, all identified by Michel number; much parallel mint and used, with the main emphasis of the holding being the 1950s, with later issues more sporadic; many items in manageable, useful quantities—good for both the dealer and the plate flaw-hunter; quality varies, as expected, but overwhelming majority is fresh and sound; note numerous souvenir sheets in quantity, a used Posthorn set complete, much of Topical interest, etc., Fine to Very Fine with much better throughout, take the time to view.

1617   imageGermany: Federal Republic, Monster Muster of Modernity, 1970-2015. Filling four albums and a stockbook of various makes, a near-complete Bund collection of singles, souvenir sheets, booklets, and panes; the handful of items missing is more than offset by the extras present; note many issues of the 2000s mint as margin singles plus paralleled as Deutsch Post-cancelled items (some even postally used); the collection is rich in complete unexploded booklets, mint and used booklet panes (most often missing), part-sheets of stamps used to create booklets, as well in self-adhesive stamp strips of five (in addition to the singles); the booklet coverage is a real marvel, stretching back to Michel #MH1 from the Empire, with several still in their original auction house/dealer glassines; Post Office fresh throughout as to be expected, though the most recent material needs a new home (here "held" in place by half-strips of mounts, and thus a little wobbly), Very Fine, a sensational holding worthy of a close review.
