1890 o   imageWorldwide, Let's Get Acquainted Collection. Pages taken from Baumbach's Illustrated Postage Stamp Album (a 1946 Christmas gift to on Elizabeth Thalmann), now free from the binding and in page protectors; not surprisingly starts with German States and Germany (mostly Empire, very little Reich), plus pages from across Europe and the Americas; decent fillage throughout ("coverage" is a bit too formal a word); surprisingly varied U.S., from Bank Notes through Washington-Franklins, though with Columbians to 10¢, a nice 4¢ Trans-Mississippi, #F1, even a few Stock Transfer stamps; no great rarities spotted, but some genuine earlies, and rather a fun look back at how stamp collecting was done, Fine to Very Fine with better, inspect.

1898 o   imageWorldwide, Wandering Collection, 1854-1909. Housed in an Art Nouveau-bound Schaubek album that has, honestly, seen better days; while the binding and pages are a little long in the tooth, the stamps contained are generally in good condition; wide-ranging but shallow coverage is the rule here, but we note good Europe (especially Germanic area and Scandinavia), surprisingly good U.S. (including a couple near-perfectly centered Washington-Franklins), nice arrays of Latin America, Japan and Iran, and nice French Colonies; no major rarities, but you're sure to find something of interest given the breadth of material, Fine to Very Fine, inspect.

Intact as received in 23 shipping cartons, United States, worldwide, several hundreds of albums / envelope & folder lots purchased at auctions, we note US postage in sheet files, plate blocks and singles with some mildly better, albums range from sparse to useful and run a full range of countries / areas, Internationals, modern stamp albums, stockbooks, its all here, the best part seems to be hundreds of folders purchased from a Pennsylvania auction firm and still containing many many stamps, ranging in value from nil to hundreds, this holding tickles the philatelic funny bone in ways one cannot imagine, a perfect holding to sell on the internet or retail as the lots are already pre-made, just type, shoot and sell, viewing not for the faint of spirit, one may just want to "wing-it" but if you insist, please have a look, generally Fine to Very Fine.
