The Bill Schneider, Jr., collection, a foremost historical progression of F.A.M 18 from 1946-1962, housed in two large photo scrapbooks, each measuring 23.5" x 19.5", comprising of over 290 pilot signed photos, 235 pilot signed flight covers, 40 pilot signed airline labels, 20 pilot signed various advertising and promotional pieces, also 18 unsigned flight covers plus numerous magazine and newspaper clippings, correspondence to the pilots, timetables, original first flight information slips, polaroid photos taken on location of many of the legs, truly an incomparable collection that would be the foundation for an award winning exhibition of this popular foreign air mail flight, the value is almost incalculable and will require careful viewing to realize its full potential, irreplaceable and incredible source of information and history, would be well-placed in any aero-philatelic museum or archive, generally fine-very fine although there are some issues with mounting of the newspaper and magazine articles and aging, covers and photos are mostly very fine.

The Bill Schneider, Jr., collection, the incredible holding of the historical progression of F.A.M. 24 as operated by American Overseas Airlines subsidiary of American Airlines, housed in a large bulging photo scrapbooks, measuring 23.5" x 19.5", comprising of over 230 pilot signed photos, 125 pilot signed flight covers, 64 pilot signed airline labels (variable quality) includes scarce American Export Airlines, various other pilot signed advertising and promotional pieces, also 19 unsigned flight covers plus numerous magazine and newspaper clippings, correspondence to the pilots, timetables, original first flight information slips, polaroid photos taken on location of many of the legs, rare Swedish AA labels, Inaugural Booklet- pilot signed, Telegram, scarce photographic proofs of the cachets for F24f (2) including Boston-Dusseldorf and F24g(2) including Boston to Cologne, and two crisp uncirculated $1 banknotes series of 1935 blue seal each signed by pilot W.A. Fariss. Truly an incomparable collection that would be the foundation for an award winning exhibition of this popular foreign air mail flight, the value is almost incalculable and will require careful viewing to realize its full potential, irreplaceable and incredible source of information and history, would be well-placed in any aero-philatelic museum or archive, generally fine-very fine although there are some issues with mounting of the newspaper clippings, magazine articles and labels that are showing signs of age stains from mounting, covers and photos are mostly very fine.

H.A. Dargue, leader of the flight, Very Fine, includes contemporary newspaper clipping, invitation card to Bolling Field to welcome the fliers, and a letter from the American Legation in Guatemala carried on the flight.
