1505   imageWorldwide, Nice Caboose Lot, 1868-1994, Starting off with a few thematic collections, we have a 4-volume White Ace set of albums in slipcases celebrating America's Bicentennial, a mint collection of singles and souvenir sheets from around the world, and one volume focusing on U.S. with souvenir cards, envelope entires, postal cards and Cinderellas. Two other White Ace albums include one on the Apollo-Soyuz Mission of 1975, also a worldwide mint collection with some FDCs, and one on QEII's Silver Jubilee with stamps, souvenir sheets and booklets from all over the British Commonwealth. Some U.N. is also featured in this lot with nearly 100 FDCs and an album of souvenir cards and imprint blocks from the 1970s. Another interesting artifact is a 23 Karat Gold Proof collection with over 30 impressions of some of America's most iconic stamps. There's also various USPS publications, like a hardcover edition of the Legends of the West (along with a Recalled Sheet) to various annual mint sets. 1507   imageWorldwide, "Remains of the Day" U.S., Israel & Others, 1890s-1960s, An estate balance consisting of multiple Israeli collections, two of which are in attractive Israeli-made albums with mint singles all in mounts from 1948-59, and another nearly complete mint collection, this time with tabs, in mounts in a Minkus album from 1960-68. Lots more mint Israel including strips of five with tabs and some covers. Speaking of covers, there are a few hundred overall, mostly U.S., with some interesting items, such as censored mail, numerous official stampless covers mailed to FDR, a shoebox filled with used postal cards and picture postcards all from around 1900, some early metered mail, and a small box of First Flight covers including some Canada. 1513   imageWorldwide, A Trio of Test Stamp Multiples, 1954-56, comprising two 1954 Finland Tests, one a horizontal left margin block of eight red Coat-of-Arms inscribed "SP/sp" (Suomen Pankin, the Bank of Finland Security Printing House), one a lower right corner vertical block of six Johan Snellman statue in black without text; plus a 1956 Brazil Test (top right corner block of four) depicting an apartment block, cactus and center of flag with "Brasil/Prova 1956" inscribed; all produced by and on Winkler Fallert & Co. (WIFAG) machinery; all fresh, the red Finland missing gum on lower left stamp and selvage (no thin, interestingly), the Brazil block with diagonal paper wrinkles, o.g., never hinged, Very Fine overall, an attractive and uncommon offering, none are known in full sheets, making these positionals of greater interest.
