US & Possessions, British and Worldwide Stamps & Postal History - May 16-18, 2023

With over 1600 lots, a bonanza for collectors of US and foreign alike. British Commonwealth begins with a Mulready lettersheet and continues with sought-after Great Britain issues plus solid offerings from Bermuda, British Guiana, Falklands (Centenary Issue), St. Vincent, and Turks Islands. Canada includes a SCADTA registered airmail cover, while Worldwide offers fine Guatemala, Mexico (Earhart and Sarabia Airmails), a big Norway #1 and used Sweden #1 and "TRETIO" error. The Postal History section presents nice stampless and Black Jack covers (some of the latter with fancy cancels), Union and Confederate Civil War covers, a group of colorful Amon Carter Airmail covers, and Zeppelin covers.
