184 og/nh image£1 grey John Ash Imprint block of 4 with Retouched Lower Frames Pos [L60 & R55] ACSC 54z, minor bends at lower left that intrude on the lower left unit, the left-hand units with some very minor gum aging, the upper units very lightly mounted, the lower units are unmounted, Cat $17,500+ for mounted. Rare. The ACSC states "there are probably not more than a dozen imprint blocks of 4". We are confident that the £1 imprint block is scarcer than its more highly regarded £2 sibling.
