444 oversize cover imageVIETNAM WAR: 1968 (March 16) large-part parcel wrapper to Australia with 10c Fish & 30c Ibis pair tied by indistinct 'AUST FPO/ 3 ' cds used at Vung Tau with blank blue 'R6' label endorsed "AFPO 3" alongside, Australian Customs black/pink form affixed on face declaring contents of "One National Transistor, 3 pieces of Silk, ..." counter-signed by commanding officer & affixed with 'sticky' tape, 'OPENED FOR/ CUSTOMS/EXAMINATION' yellow/green tape on face, some folds & blemishes. The Forces Concession surface parcel rate was 50c up to 10oz + 20c registration fee.

The concessional Other Articles rate was 8c per 2oz (specifically including audio cassettes) + 20c registration fee. [A very scarce usage, albeit with 2c convenience overpayment. On 1.10.1968, the free mail privilege for personal correspondence - including audio cassettes - from & to Vietnam was introduced).

Late usage of the 5c Forces Concession airmail rate + 20c registration fee. [It's a surprise that the article was flown to Sydney, then back to Malaysia. Why not trans-shipped at Singapore?]
