[New Australia was founded in 1893 as a utopian socialist settlement of 238 people. It propunded an odd mix of communism, monogamy, teetolalism & white racial purity. The experiment failed but there are still some 2000 descendants of the founders living in Paraguay]

Although not endorsed, the item paid the Forces Concession 6d per ½oz airmail rate for carriage by RAAF transport. A short-lived & very scarce usage of the 6d Bird (Cat $150 for solo).
