391 c image1957 (Aug 6) cover with autographs of "Miles King", "Phil Lightband" & "F Bethwaite" mis-dated "6.7.57", from New Zealand via Norfolk Island with Plunket Society 3d uncancelled, on arrival at Sydney QE 4d pair added & all stamps tied by slogan cancel of 8AUG/1957, returned to NZ by sea, minor blemishes on the reverse: AAMC 1376a (NZAMC 479), unpriced. The only recorded example. [The ACSC refers to "covers", plural, but the NZ catalogue states "one cover known" which is this item. Plus contemporary newspaper photos & clippings that make clear this was a one-way delivery flight, the crew returning per TEAL]
