1899 Special Printings comprising ½d in blue-green (close to the issued colour) x2 & in various unissued colours x7, and 2d in violet (as issued), or unissued carmine or blue-green, each with three ruled ink-lines mostly in black but also in blue or violet, three stained by official attempts to remove the cancellations. Very scarce, especially as a complete set. [These stamps - sometimes erroneously characterised as 'colour trials' - were printed in a range of colours specifically for the purpose of attempting to remove the cancellations using various solvents and other chemicals. Includes Richard Breckon's 1989 article about the discovery of this material] (12)

1856-58 Perkins Bacon Queen-on-Throne Rouletted 6d bright blue as SG 73 but Imperforate, close to good margins are wide enough to support the absence of rouletting, large-part o.g. A great rarity. [Geoff Kellow at page 103 refers to the release in England in the late-19th century of remainders of the 1d and 6d. Of the latter he states "...the printer retained apparently very few copies" which, because the rouletting was done in Victoria, were imperforate. "Five copies only are known: two pairs are in the Tapling and Royal Collections". That statement suggests that this is either the only recorded single or a newly discovered example]
