REPRINTS: 1891 reprints of obsolete stamps De La Rue multiples overprinted 'SPECIMEN' comprising ½d brown strip of 4, strips of 5 of 1d 2d 3d x2 (one vertical), 4d & 6d x2 (different shades), and gutter pairs of the 1d & 2d, characteristic rough perfs otherwise superb with full unmounted streaky o.g. Another very scarce group. [Bill McCredie's only multiples were blocks of 8, with toning & no gum, that sold for $582] (9 items)
