284 image German States - Bavaria 1818 "Magna Charta" Pattern Thaler AU. Head of Maximillianus Josephus. Rev inscription is "Magnus Ab Integro Saeclorum Nascitur Ordo". From an old Pennsylvania estate, the coin's envelope references the ANA auction in Philadelphia Aug. 19th 1941. Another like this one but cleaned was selling on Ebay for $200.+ but the present coin is original and of much higher overall quality. (Image) (imageb)

285 image German States - Frankfurt 1863 Thaler KM# 372 Proof PF63+. Obv shows the Assembly of Princes. Mintage of this Thaler was only 20,304 and of the proofs surely much less.
