Bold serrated oval date stamp (LOS-250, R6) with matching target handstamp canceling on 1874, 3¢ green corner card entire to Concord, Mass., a Very Fine and choice strike, this being the only recorded postmark from Amargo.
Estimate; $300 - 400.

The Amargo post office was located on the Las Virgenes Ranch, seven miles east of Newbury Park.

Bold blue cds (BUT-340) with "Station" removed from name, on cover to Oroville franked with 1883, 2¢ red brown canceled by matching grid handstamp; cover reduced at left, Very Fine, the only recorded example of this provisionally altered postmark after Biggs Station changed name to Biggs at the end of the year in 1884.

Clear cds (SCR-780, R5) on 1874, 3¢ green entire to Bay City, Mich., accompanied by second cover with "Feb 25, 1882" strike of cds franked with 1¢ Banknote strip of three, all tied by target handstamps; reduction on former and later just into one stamp with some light cover tone, otherwise Very Fine, this being the only examples known of this postmark.
