Mexico, Puebla Bars & X's On Large Numeral Stamps - Railroad Usage. These stamps (over 60, mostly brown lilac 10c large numeral) are the only known ones with these cancels, in collaboration
with Karl Schimmer the railroad route was plotted to show that these were canceled, apparently in conjunction with the railroad, some of these cancels appear with Puebla District town cancels for Amozoc, Cholula, Huexotzingo, Puebla, San Juan de los
Llanos, San Martin Texmelucan, Tecali, Tehuacan, Tepeji de la Seda, Teteles, Tezuitlan, Zacapoaxtla, and the railroad itself, Ferrocarril Mexicano Ramal-Puebla Conductor No. 1, and 2; and Mexico, D. F., reference copy of the October 2001 article
