Sterling Stamps announces the third auction of the year on Saturday, July 16th, 2022 at 10am EST, with pre-auction bidding ending Saturday morning at 6am (EST). Please note we go live online at 10am. This auction offers many nice singles, sets, covers, specialty items, and collections and accumulations. We are still offering low start bids and a competitive buyer’s premium (15%) and never overcharge for shipping!

Here are some of the highlights:

  • The rare "US Treasury Department Specimens Presentation Album", also known as BEP presentation album, published by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing from the mid-1860s through the 1910s.
  • Nice selection of individual US stamps highlighted by several 1847 issues, Scott 30 used pair, Scott 101 unused, 595 MNH block of 4 with plate number and hollow star in selvage, a selection of Kansas City Roulettes MNH multiples. The revenue section offers several lots Scott listed and unlisted. Once again, there is another nice selection of Essays, Proofs, and Specimens in this auction like Scott 2P1b, 85E-E1 (6 different 12c Experimental "Z" grill essays), 230P4-245P4 complete set of 1893 Columbian card proofs, and several back of book proofs.
  • In other sections, we offer a nice selection of foreign singles and collctions including Canada Provinces singles, several PRC better souvenir sheets, China stamps and covers, British Colonies War Tax Covers, and additional lots from the Burris collection featuring better collections from Albania, Russia, and Russian Republics.
  • Our usual lots, collections, literature, and supplies are always worth reviewing also.
Live platform bidding is available on our website, https://auctions.sterlingstamps.com or at StampAuctionNetwork beginning at 10am, allowing you to bid against floor bidders and phone bidders.

We will be going live internet bidding at 10am the day of auction so please make sure that you are registered a least a day ahead.

Phone bidders please make arrangements well before auction day. All mail and internet bids must be received by 9am day of auction.

Thank you for checking us out!
