Lot 2424 - 1935 KGV Silver Jubilee 2½d Prussian blue ERROR OF COLOUR (instead of normal blue) with normal to compare. Superb fresh MLH, almost MNH, pristine original gum. SG Spec NCOM14, SG 456a cat £12,000+. Only 3 sheets issued by mistake at one PO & most were used & lost. One of the most famous errors of colour of all of philately & the key KGV period GB stamp. Worldwide Public Auction - August 27, 2020

Auction 360 has 3,617 lots, catering for all types of collectors & dealers - from bulk accumulations and intact collections to desirable single items. This auction offers a huge range of material, with special emphasis on lotting stamps to cater for collectors with varying types of interests and budgets. Items range from $30 to $50,000 so there's something for everybody. This auction offers strong representation of Australia & Colonies, strong British Empire material of all areas & periods, as well as General Foreign including small and large collections. There are almost 300 lots of Australian Collections (Lots 49-277) and almost 400 lots of World collections (Lots 278-637).

Following on there is over 1100 lots of Australia which consist of singles, sets and covers including Australian colonies (Lots 656 - 1759). The Australian lots cover all periods, from the Kangaroo issues up to Decimal and contains numerous numbers of mint & used £1 & £2 top values. This auction includes a Third Watermark £2 Purple-black & pale rose, variety 'break in lower frame under N of Pounds'. Superb MUH top marginal, nice never hinged original gum, nice colours & excellent centring. SG 45b cat £4500 for M, should be at least double, £9000 MUH. ACSC 56C(D)o cat £17,500 as normals, plus +50% premium for variety =$26,250. Very rare genuine MUH.(Lot 875).

There are 1,600 lots of World stamps, covers and single country collections (Lots 1760-3617). Numerous other British Empire, European, The Americas and Asian rarities.
