Schlegel Sale - 27

Worldwide Public Auction - October 26-29, 2020

We are proud to present you the offer of our 27th auction from October 26-29, 2020. Following the success of our last auctions we offer once again a wide array of philatelic works and objects from across the world with a variety of collections and single lots at accessible prices. We will start off with our sixth edition of our EXKLUSIVITÄTEN DER PHILATELIE (Lots 1–111). This will be a truly exciting offer with a beautiful assembly of interesting covers, searched issues, and several other rarities which should grace any collection. This section will be directly followed by an offer of Essays from all over the world (lots 112–249) and the special catalogue "Bernstein“ – Free City of Danzig mail (Lots 301–520).

We’d like to draw your attention to an exceptional collection of Polish Prisoner of War mail (Lots 2384 and 2385) which documents the mass executions at Katyn of nearly 22,000 Polish military officers and intelligentsia carried out by the Soviet Union. Generally, our collection and estate section features a geographically wide array which will also include the last part of the collections of French entrepreneur and football enthusiast and club owner Louis Nicollin (lots 2127–2170; with more than 40 collections of France).

We are thrilled to be offering an old Sudetenland collection (Lots 3201–3268), a dealer inventory with local issues of the occupation of Lithuania by Nazi Germany (Lots 3301–3463) as well as an extraordinary offer EAST GERMANY DDR (Lots 3501–3666) with rare watermarks etc. Please look forward to our single lot section which is led by a rare Zeppelin cover from the Howalds-facility in Kiel to Buenos Aires (Lot 8981) and an unique three colored franking of Helgoland (lot 5792).

Bidding at StampAuctionNetwork stops at 4:00 am ET October 26.
