1851-1953 in Chinese Albums with very
mixed condition earlies range to 1925 including easily dislodgeable loose bundles crammed into storage lines (some already dislodged). Page 1 has a high cat value; however careful viewing is needed because of the defective material present including
1873 1r pale blue Carlist Issue SG #1 MNG, repaired tear & thinned with a hole (£700 as blemish-free mint) and other used with barred line telegraphic cancels. Ditto page 3 with some purported high cat value
stamps being used telegraphic cancels or MNG telegraphic punctures. Among this challenging period, we noted in reasonable used condition 1864 1r brown SG #79 (£110), 1873 10c deep lilac SG
#196 (£350), 1875 10c SG #231 (£170) then very scattered to completion, including 1931 array of specimen ovpts in range SG #571s-82s. Careful assessment may elicit
other finds. In addition, two Chinese albums with 1955-73 content. (1,000s) (Image
