1353 imageA registered letter from Kiev to Verkhnedneprovsk. Sent on December 8, 1918. Kiev postmark of receiving dd. December 28, 1918. Sent during the uprising of Simon Petliura and the subsequent change of power in Kiev. The letter had been sent from the Ukrainian State, but it already arrived in the Ukrainian People's Republic. Historical information: on December 14, 1918, Skoropadsky signed a Manifesto of abdication and fled from Kiev. The Ukrainian State ceased to exist. By December 20, the power of the Ukrainian People's Republic was restored throughout the Hetmanate of Ukraine, with the exception of the Odessa region and part of the Yekaterinoslav Province.
