633 c1988 colln of 55 diff close-up coloured photos, 15 x 10cm, of (mostly major) South Island post office buildings, apparently around the time of the mass closures in Feb 1988. Very few show the new NZ Post logo. All identified. Mosty Otago & Southland, plus some Canterbury. Also set of 12 diff PPCs of Otago POs from the later Otago Community Hospice calendar. Fine record.

Below, fine circular rubber h/s (violet) "II / I RNZIR BN GP / EAST TIMOR" (with Kiwi at top), dated "08 NOV 2000". This cachet used by NZ Army Infantry Battery 2 (1 of 2 NZ batteries with the peacekeeping forces). Fine condition. Mail from this deployment is now hard to find.
