521 C 1908 reg'd cover to GB (one corner reduced). Unusual franking of horiz pair 1½d Boer War p11, canc TIMARU A type cds 8 SP 08, m/s "A.R.". Two transit/receipt b/s. The rate on this should have been 6½d (1d postage + 3d regn + 2½d advice of delivery). No sign of any other stamp.

Immediately after evacuation from Gallipoli. Probably written abroad ship at Mudros on Lemnos Island, on route to Alexandria. Fine.

Utopia Hospital, Gibraltar 22/8/15", stated "Left Malta on Tuesday at 7.30am", PPC shows fine photo of Whangaroa Bay, NZ (with settlement), but is damaged along one edge.
