9d Violet: three commercial covers, each bearing a single 9d: Aug.1919 on reg'd cover from Sandgate Qld to California (Cat.$600); Mar.1925 on reg'd cover from Albany W.A. to California (Cat.$600); and June 1929 on cover carried by Air from Adelaide to Perth, then by sea to Vienna, Austria (Die 2b - Cat $550). (3 covers). A most attractive trio.

9d Violet (Die 2B) FU as a single franking on a private pictorial lettercard from Sydney (Nov. 1930) to Eskiltuna, SWEDEN. paying the Karachi - London AIRMAIL rate. BW: $550.
