332 C image 1912 (Nov. 24) cover to Sydney with Qld 1d Sideface tied by THURSDAY ISLAND '24NO12' datestamp with another superb strike alongside, 'KONINKLIJKE PAKETVAART MAATSCHAPPIJ' ship illustration on the cover flap and as part of the illustrated headers on two sheets of writing paper with letter written on board SS Van Waerwijck at the Gulf of Papua, giving details from a traveller's diary noting that the natives are "keen traders" wanting "one bob", "two bob" or sometimes "one shilleen" (sic) for articles, and "Port Moresby is not much of a place....I saw a prison gang (native) working on the roads.
