Great selection of different city markings such as Belleville 1878, Bloomington 1855, Lewistown, Georgetown, Knoxville 1897, Ottawa 1863 and Milford. On one cover a nice directive to advertise is noted in pen. Strong "ADVERTISED" and "NOT CALLED FOR" markings. a couple items still have contents and should be inspected.

Lot includes stampless Ft Madison "ADVERTISED" and Paid 3 mark, Desmoines circular "ADVERTISED 1 Cent" on front and small circular "APR 4 1864" on back. A nice cover with Attorney corner card and 1862 Davenport in oval. Another item with oval "SPRINGVILLE" and Advertised and Due 1 each in circles. Also a 5¢ Columbian used to Germany returned as unclaimed with DLO traingle and a 7-line staightline New York duplex and other marks on backside. Other town represented include Burlington, Clayton, Cuthrif Center, Souix City and others; some small flaws, F.-V.F. group.
