Typed on reverse "2 7 6/British Anniversaries/EUROPA CEPT/9d value". A unique essay. Provenance: ex The Michael Goaman archive. Michael Goaman was a graphic designer and illustrator responsible for designing a number of British commemorative stamps. His first was the 4d stamp in the set for the Coronation of Elizabeth II in 1953 and he went on to produce many more designs through into the 1960s.
