A scarce exceptional quality piece of Queen Elizabeth II philately. GB Specialised Catalogue No: ST7(3)b. The Dollis Hill phosphor trials were made by the Post Office between 1958 and 1972. These trial stamps were unknown to collectors until they appeared on the market at a major London auction. These important trial stamps are now recognised as an area of fascinating philatelic study.
