A superb unmounted full original gum bottom left hand corner marginal "Traffic light" block of four imperforate imprimaturs each with a "BPMA" (British Postal Museum Archives) handstamp on reverse. Imprimaturs represent the first stamps printed from the approved and finished printing plate. Exceptional provenance originating from the British Postal Museum Archives which were released into the market for the first time in 2014. Prior to this it was stored in the museum archives in climate controlled vaults since being printed and is therefore in uncirculated mint condition. (Image)

340 imageGreat Britain Queen Elizabeth II 1997 20p Royal Golden Wedding, SG2011b. A superb unmounted full original gum top marginal example with gold "Face value" completely omitted and the "Frame" partially omitted. A block containing two vertical strips of four stamps (Rows 1-2) was discovered with the top two stamps both showing the (gold) face value omitted. The error was caused by the gold frame (and value) stopping at the base of the second stamp. A lovely example of this important British Royalty error. Accompanied with a 2010 British Philatelic Association Certificate of Authenticity. (Image)
