1923 O/og/nh Worldwide imageWorldwide Consignment Remainder in Two Cartons, consisting of a worldwide collection on homemade pages, a twelve-inch high stack of Steiner pages with country collections, collections for Sweden, Norway, Finland and German Area (no Germany) on Minkus pages to 2000, a large shoebox full of loose stamps, and another full of stamps in envelopes and glassines. We could only give a cursory look at this large volume of stamps. We noted two full sheets of USA State’s Flowers and Birds (Scott #2002b) and complete sheetlets of 25 of Luxembourg semi-postals Scott #B222-7 and B246-251 (CV $236). 1928 O/og Worldwide imageWorldwide Mint and Used Collection in 42 Scott International Albums with Pages to 2017, a mainly used large collection, notable for including a high number of very recent stamps, well into 2017. Owner’s partial count is just over 120,000 stamps for just 28 of the 42 albums, and based on this, we estimate the total count to be over 150,000. Most of the collection is used but we found many mint hinged stamps mostly in recent years. Canada is near complete to 2009 (used) with a $2 Jubilee (smeared cancel). We also noted China 1 candarin Imperial Dragon (CV $400 as cheapest variety), France with Scott #1, 3 and 9 (CV $910), 21 repaired (CV $2,475) as well as many Peace and Commerce issues, Great Britain 2-margin Penny Black, also Scott #34 MH (CV $1,900), green horizontal £1 Victoria Scott #124 (CV $800), 12 copies of Japan Offices in China Scott #30 (CV $140 each). USA is about 80% complete with much recent. Other countries with high number of stamps until 2015 or even 2017 include France, Germany, Australia, Egypt, Great Britain (to 2011), Greece, Israel, Japan, Sweden, Tunisia and Turkey. Many other countries are highly complete for specific periods such as Argentina 2000-2005, Austria 1960-2000, Brazil to 1995, PRC 1988-2000, Czechoslovakia to 1992, Finland to 2003, Hungary to 1994, Indonesia 1983-2014, Italy 1952-1990, Nepal 1965-1996, Norway 1975-2001, Poland to 2004, Romania 1960-1998, Russia 1955-1995, Spain to 2004, to name only a few. There is way too much to list here, and our numerous scans can only provide an overview of this large collection. Faults noted on some earlier material, otherwise overall fine to very fine, and over 200 scans are available on our website.

1929 O/og Worldwide imageWorldwide Mint and Used Collection in 38 Minkus Albums, a large intact collection with pages to 2007, notable for its strong content in the 1920s to 1980s range across most countries (some countries can have a large number of consecutive pages which are complete or full), with inventory by country, owner’s count is just over 134,500 stamps plus another 900 souvenir sheets, stands out for being very clean and from a smoke free house. All the stamps and souvenir sheets in the collection are hinged and includes a mix of mint and used stamps. Some of the better stamps noted include: Brazil #1-2 (CV $775), 10 (CV $120), 28 (CV $110), Cyprus QV #2 plate 208, #9 Plate 216 (CV $460), French Polynesia France Libre overprints #133-135 (CV $340), GB #1 Penny Black position BK with red Maltese Cross, Early Nepal imperforated stamps, China to 1949, Formosa, Taiwan, People’s Republic of China (extensive, incl. used strip of #939-943 CV $550, used strip of 5 #944-948 CV $800, etc.), North Eastern Provinces with a total of 2,650 stamps noting: #31-4, #57-9, #60-4 with duplications. #245-8 4 souvenir sheets dated 1958, #716-31 (CV $189), #1067-75 (CV $337), #1084-9 (CV $150), #1099-1102 (CV $90), #1114-6 (CV $68) and #1143-48 (CV $65) too many to list. Gold Coast KGVI set to 10sh, QEII to 10/. Nice Greece to 1975, Hong Kong including early ones and with Silver Jubilee of 1935, UPU etc. Extensive India States, Indo-China, Japan 1952 to 1974, North Korea on blank pages, Mauritius #8 never used, many Monaco sets, South Africa including 1sh postage due (J7), Viet Nam South and North, Yugoslavia including IK11, C33a and C43 (CV $180), one full book of Russia with over 5,000 stamps and 165 souvenir sheets. 1936 O/og Worldwide imageWorldwide Two Worldwide Mint and Used Collections, one two-volume set of Minkus pages to 1955, the two volume Supreme Global albums to about 1962. These two collections together house well over 10,000 stamps from all over. Canada and the United States are well represented in both collections. The collections are populated with mostly used stamps and the occasional mint set. We noted a page of Belgium with 10% post-war manual overprints, a larger than usual Cuba collection, nice post-war Italy, and much more. We found a musty smell from humid storage conditions.
