We note: 4 x DLO branch wax seals (one from Winnipeg on back of a 1919 ambulance envelope); one from Vancouver (1908 faulty cover) and 2 on pieces: Calgary and Toronto Branch; A scarce Ottawa 1875 Registered returned Dead Letter envelope with Post Office Dept Canada wax seal on back; An 1896 cover from River Denis, N.S. franked 1c Small Queen enclosing a returned form accompanied by 2 x 10c pieces (no longer there), although unsealed, the cover was closed with a pin; A 1902 Official Dead letter Branch cover addressed to Wales franked with a 2c Numeral; 2 x Prohibited Mail covers (addressed to Quebéc City (1935) and Toronto (1939)) with appropriate auxiliary markings; 3x ADDRESS AMENDED auxiliary markings; A #46 (20c Vermilion cancelled with very rare SHERBROOKE Local Dead Letter Office oval cds); etc. All pages are scanned online.
