Imperforate on a Mourning Cover, mailed from Peterboro on DEC.13.1856 to Port Sarnia, with DEC.17 receiver on back. Franking is what appears to be a thin paper 3d red Beaver imperforate, with large to huge margins (small crease in left margin),
tied by a target cancel to this small Lady's mourning cover with curved black backflap and black wax seal, small opening tear at right, still very fine. (Scan 2)

Cents" Issue Covers with Grid 16 Cancels from Hamilton, first is a large folded "Return of Marriages" for the year 1865, listing seven names and details of people who got married in that year (all aged between 21 and 28 for the men and 18 to 25
for the brides), franked with a 1c Queen Victoria, tied by a #16 in circular grid from Hamilton (no datestamp, with much separation in the folds). Also a cover from Hamilton (DEC.21.1860) to Niagara, franked with a 5c red Beaver tied by a #16 in
