1351 og/nh 51/2280 imageAdvanced Collection of Mint in 8 Deluxe Lighthouse Stockbooks, starts off with Jubilees and continues on to about 2008. The owner lists about 17 early stamps which are hinged and notes that the rest (thousands) are all never hinged. Many complete sets including Scroll, Arch, War, Peace, etc, with light duplication of some. The highlight of this collection is the number of identified varieties (from the 60s and 70s to the end), with shades, dies, tagging, perforations, fluorescent papers, etc. We note coils, booklet panes, se-tenant items, blocks and corner blocks, complete booklets (many in the modern era), souvenir sheets (also many), etc. We counted 58x $1 Vancouver stamps with many varieties, a good collection of Caricature stamps with varieties (note a nicely mis-perforated block of the 1c), one volume has only Centennials with many varieties, and more. We counted the face value of all stamps from 1976 to the end which came to $1602.18. Nice overall quality, with a very high catalogue value.
