1152 O British Commonwealth Extensive Collection of Used British Commonwealth Filling 13 Binders, with singles, sets, back of the book and a few souvenir sheets, all neatly displayed in Manilla stock pages. Most of the material is clean and is identified by Scott number and (older) Scott value, and the owner has a tally at the end of each country. Stamps are usually represented in a single copy, but we note a little duplication of up to about ten copies of some. 1155 O/og/nh British Commonwealth Old Time Collection and Stock of Mint and Used, with a shoebox containing a few dozen glassines with nice quality mint and used with many sets to the Shillings, some to the £, many nice postmarks, high value sets, etc. Also an old stockbook containing a quantity of used early QEII-era blocks, plate blocks, singles, then a small book with many used 1953 Coronation issues in blocks, nice plate inscription blocks, etc. An envelope contains several never hinged part sheets of the 1937 Coronation issues. Finally, we include three oversize covers franked with British Guyana 1c on $1 surcharge issues (Scott #148), with a block of 30 and two strips of 10, all postmarked with RPO cancels dated July 26, 1890 (2 weeks after issue of stamps). A nice lot, with a few stamps having browned gum but overall good quality. Est. $ 300
