Lot 2432 - Very rare 10 penni COLOUR ERROR in a pair with normal 5 penni stamp, on fragment, Brahestad 1870! 10 penni stamp missing only ½ perf and 5 penni stamp with some patina. Worldwide Public Auction - October 4, 2023

The auction consists of over 3700 lots including a lot of worldwide philately, mainly in intact lots and collections and also as single items. Main focus is on the Finnish stamps, collections and postal history. The sale includes for example plenty of 1856 oval issues, plenty of Finnish classic error stamps starting from 1856, like 1856 5 kopeck with double print, 1860 10 kopeck double print, 10 kopeck without roulette, 1866 10 penni colour error (10 penni on 5 penni colour) on a pair (only two known), 1866 8 penni on cover with missing horizontal roulette, tête-bêche pairs on 1882-1885 issues (like 1882 5 penni tête-bêche pari on cover, 1891 3½ rouble colour error stamp, Zeppelin 1830 error print stamp on a cover to Sweden, over ten copies of Aunus high values, 1922 Karelia complete sheet set (15 sheets of 50 stamps) and many other key items in Finnish philately, also plenty of postal items, rare postmarks etc.

Foreign section has plenty of interesting lots, for example a magnificent collection of Great Britain 1840 – 1995 in four albums with huge amount of valuable and interesting material, other better collections from Sweden, Switzerland, France, Denmark, also old worldwide collections. Auction includes also a great selection of Great Britain single items like Penny Blacks Mi 1, multiples of 2 pence blue Mi 2, shilling and pound values etc. Also a nice selection of British colonies included plus plenty of other great collections and lots from all over the world.

There is also approximately 180 gold coin lots and plenty of other collectibles available in the auction as well as large selection of Finnish medals and orders.
