Philatelic Service of Finland Ltd. - Hellman Auctions Sale - 120

Worldwide Public Auction - March 17-20, 2021

The auction consists of over 3000 lots and includes a lot of worldwide philately, mainly in intact lots and collections and also as single items. Main focus is on the Finnish stamps, collections and postal history. The sale includes for example 80 lots of 1856 oval issues including very rare mint stamps from both values,1866 8 penni with rare roulette V, Zeppelin 1830 error print stamps on a single item, in a pair and in a block of nine, several tête-bêche items from Finland, plenty of postal items etc. 3rd part of Erkki Toivakkas exhibition collection of postal history of Aland Islands is also available. Foreign section has plenty of interesting lots.

In this auction we have also an excellent selection of over 100 items of WW2 medals and orders including many rare items like:

  • Knight’s Cross of the German Iron Cross 1939 with original ribbon, certificate and original leather grant box.
  • German Armored Destroyed golden and silver class badges
  • German Golden Cross 1941 with certificate and original LDO dispenser box
