UX23C, 1916, 1c Green on Gray, Die 1, mint card without
usually seen preprinted address, exceedingly fresh with crisp corners, Very Fine and choice.(Scott $3,250; UPSS S38)rnIn 1916, during a war-time paper shortage, this substandard grade of card stock was used temporarily, for a period of about two

UX198, 1995 20c Red Barn Postal Card, six miscut cards
including the top right corner of the uncut sheet and two others with marginal markings, Extremely Fine and uniquernUX198 was sold to the public in panes of 40 with the marginal markings removed prior to sale, as was standard operating procedure.
Collectors of EFOs are always concerned that the EFO can be made after purchase. The presence of the marginal markings on three of the cards prove that this is a legitimate EFO, offered to the market for the first time. (Image 1)
