An excellent range of material housed in 10 albums, the 1st and 2nd albums are Vatican virtually complete used yet missing the good series from the 1930s, similarly mint well filled , collection and both are Lindner. The 3rd album is Finland in a KABE including the 1930 o/p zeppelin mint never hinged, 20th century virtually complete and 19th century represented by a few roulettes to various high values 1891/01, the 4th album is Luxemburg, this time housed in a Lighthouse, virtually all mint never hinged from the early 1950s onwards, inc 1957 Europa and as well as other good semi-postals. The 5th album is Denmark, again well filled housed in a KABE from 1853 imperf spandrel onwards, most of the strength in the 20th century which is well filled from 1907. Then the 6th and 7th albums are both Liechtensteins Lindners filled almost parallel mint and used from the 60s onwards with superb used honeycomb on piece etc. The 8th album is Norway housed in a Schaubek, again well filled with the 20th century with a few empty spaces, as well as a useful showing of back of the book. The Norwegian 19th century is also strong with highlights including the 1872/75 skillings complete superb used 1sk to 7sk, all circular date stamp strikes and similarly with the first posthorn ore currency complete series 1877/78 to 60ore and then the 1878 high values complete, the 1898/1908 Knudsen printings complete to 60ore and all the 1905/6, 7/8 o/ps again complete and further studies of the 1909/10 issue etc. The more you look at the Scandinavia, the more there is to discover, definitely the best section. The 9th album is Austria again well filled post WWII, including better postal history commercially used which is unusual with high values, for example the 10 sch costumes and various other key commems from the late 1940/50s on many different covers incorporated into the stamp collection etc. The 10th book is more of a miniature sheets/topical holding, all mint never hinged one of a kind including material from other parts of Europe with topics that this collector liked. A well rounded impressive collection valued conservatively.
