received on back postage due stamps for 15c. (Sc.J4 in strip of 3, value in used US$70 each, possibly 2c. are missing) with mute cancel and datestamp of Santa Clara, with opening defects in the bottom border, all the same very interesting! (Image)

 Couple of covers sent from Antofagasta to Sweden in 1938 and 1940 via ships SS Geisha and SS Santos, originally franked with $3.50 and $2 respectively. The former was carried to Kobenhavn (Denmark) where it was forwarded with Danish
postage of 30ö, the other one arrived in Norkoping where it received Swedish postage (30ö) and all the stamps were cancelled, even the Chilean stamps. Very interesting!!

TAMPERED COVER AND OFFICIAL SEAL: Cover franked with 40c., sent from Iquique to Argentina on 3/SE/1940, with violet mark "The census will help us know, correct and improve ourselves - 28 November 1940". On arrival in Mercedes (San Luis) it received a
seal at right, with several cancels and a manuscript inscription indicating that the corner was already damaged when the cover was taken from the sack, interesting!
