Front has the large purple "First Round-the-World Flight" cachet and back has an AUG.10 Friedrichshafen machine cancel. Opening tears at top, else fine.

782 CVR United States image1929 (Aug.8) Round-the-World Zeppelin Flight Cover, mailed from Newark NJ on AUG.6 and addressed to Newark, with $3.55 rate paid (incl. $2 Franklin, $1 Lincoln Memorial and 50c Arlington Amphitheater issues). Front has the large purple "First Round-the-World Flight" cachet on top of a glued-on Zeppelin cut-out, and back has a green AUG.29 Lakehurst NJ Zeppelin slogan machine cancel. Tear on backflap does not detract, very fine.
