Cover to Victoria Canada, a legal sized "Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China / Colombo Ceylon" cover first franked with a Ceylon 25c stamp (faint c.d.s. ties), sent to Hong Kong in error, then with the addition of two Hong Kong issues
totaling 30c, these two tied to cover by a Victoria / Hong Kong AUG.28.1941 double circle cancel. The cover is endorsed "SHIPPING PAPERS" handstamp, "per S/S Fingal", "Ceylon Censor's Permit No. S/2" and "Please forward by SS Cape Alava" (this
crossed out). The cover has a "OPENED BY / CENSOR / 1" re-sealing tape tied by wax seals (on both sides). Vertical crease, still an interesting cover. (Scan 1)

Kong Cover to England, franked with two Hong Kong stamps totaling 20c, tied to cover by two Victoria / Hong Kong DEC.3.1941 double circle cancels. The cover has a large triangular "PASSED / BY / CENSOR / 113" handstamp in purple, and back shows a
MAR.18.1942 South Molton receiver. The cover was then forded to an other English address, very fine. Accompanied by a 1987 note from the "HKSC Survey of Military Censorship Handstamps" chair thanking the owner for submitting this handstamp and
explaining that it is the "latest recorded date for 113" and that it "mainly occurs addressed to Australia". Also an interesting write-up of who mailed the cover "Lt. Col. C.D. Shackleton" (back of cover with his signature). (Scan 1)
