(2, one necessarily affixed to reverse) cancelled by “1” bootheels with despatch c.d.s. on reverse, marked in red “1” for Barbados share and “1/10” denoting British share, with “LONDON/J/PAID/A/14 MY 69” transit and showing opened for display and with some reinforcement. Three week before sending the 4th West India Regiment had been disbanded in Sierra Leone. Ex Davy and Deakin collections.
