Auktionshaus Ulrich Felzmann GmbH & Co. KG Sale - 160

Worldwide Public Auction - November 7-11, 2017

Welcome to our 160th auction from Auktionshaus Felzmann, due to be held from the 7th -11th November 2017. With more than 7000 lots of philately and numismatics we are sure that there is something in our auction for every collector.

Hidden away within the numerous highlights in our offer of high quality single lots and untouched collections of international and German philately there is a certified rarity of which there are very few recognized examples, the 9 Schilling horizontal pair a highlight of former German states philately from Hamburg (Lot 4486). The imperforated flower miniature sheet is one of the great pieces of Austrian post-war philately and as far as we are aware it has never been offered at a public auction (Lot 4320). No less exciting is a full sheet of ten of the recalled & destroyed 70 ct. Kerstfest-Stamp in mint condition (Lot 5628).

Our numismatic offer is as wide ranging as ever. The auction opens with 240 lots from the “Wuppertal collection” from Wolfram Büge. Admirers of antiquity are sure to take note of many wonderful items, among them is a tetradrachm with the head of Zeus-Ammon (Lot 276). Germany until 1799 has two extremely interesting coins from the reign of Ferdinand II. And Ferdinand III. (Lots 173 and 178). There is also a 5 Taler from Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel with very dark tint (Lot 502). The international scene is giving a good showing with among others, a 100-pound Egyptian gold coin made to commemorate the Italian world cup – only 75 were made (Lot 1705).

Don’t let the year end without taking part in an exciting auction, join us and share in the excitement.
