1147 imagePort. India 1959 uprated aerogramme from Mormugao to Los Angeles California. OM 7 , 2 escudos 80 centavos uprated with a single 1 escudo coin issue (CE 513). Light “Mormugao” postmarks tie the stamp and the indicium. The text is written entirely in Japanese. The aerogramme is addressed to a passenger or crew member of the Japanese ship “MS Korai Maru” of the General Steamship Corporation. Very unusual.(Image 1) (Image 2)
