India 1896 Dom Luis piece from Nova-Goa to German East Africa franked with a single 4 tangas Dom Luis issue (CE 137). “Nova-Goa” CDS, partial Bombay “Sea Post” transit mark, light “Zanzibar” transit CDS, “Lindi” transit CDS and a “Kilwa” arrival postmark. In 1896, Lindi and Kilwa were villages in German East Africa. The franking is made up of 2 tangas registration and 2 tangas postage. An exceptionally scarce stamp on piece.
