314 imagePortugal. Lusíadas Issue 1933/8. Registered letter sent from Estoril in 1940, destined for France, postage of 3$75. In France, it was opened by the German military censor and marked as INADMIS (not admitted to entry), being returned to the sender, via Lisbon, on 14.6. The return was made to the National City Bank of New York, where, after several attempts to find the sender, it was sent again to Lisbon, where it arrived on 3.5.1941.
