1907, OHHS: 1909 (10.12) Official Service cover sent within Gizira at the 3 mill ‘En Ville’ sealed letter rate, franked by a combination of un-overprinted 1902 1m. and 1906 4m. bisected stamp, in November of 1909, the Gizira
post office apparently ran out of the needed 2m. and 3m. stamps, and therefore resorted to bisecting 4m. vermilion ordinary stamps to use with ordinary stamps to make the local rate for sealed letters, cover imperfections not detracting, only two
such covers have been recorded, the other has an additional “no value” stamp, cert. C. F. Hass (2008).(Image 1)
